Key Responsibilities
  • Disassemble, clean, and reassemble various types of mining machinery.
  • Assist in the shipping and receiving processes, including unloading trucks and verifying incoming goods.
  • Maintain a safe and organized workspace by keeping areas tidy and performing regular cleaning tasks.
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment, ensuring operational readiness.
  • Repair and maintain mining machinery to uphold performance standards.
  • Utilize forklifts and overhead cranes safely to handle components during repairs.
  • Assess parts for reusability or replacement, and order new components as necessary.
  • Employ diagnostic tools to make necessary adjustments to machinery.
  • Provide warranty recommendations and document findings for product representation.
  • Perform minor welding, plumbing, and electrical repairs as needed.
  • Assist in various shop tasks based on workload demands.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Dependable and reliable work ethic.
  • Basic equipment maintenance and computer skills may be required.
  • Ability to operate forklifts and overhead cranes safely.
  • General mechanical knowledge is essential.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
  • Frequent walking and movement across uneven surfaces.
  • Ability to lift over 50 lbs. regularly.
  • Proficient use of hand and power tools.
  • Capable of climbing in and out of machinery.
  • Ability to read work orders and service manuals.
  • Effective communication skills for team collaboration.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions.
