Phlebotomy Technician

At Toledo Clinic Laboratories, we are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for performing venipuncture and capillary puncture on patients, as well as traveling between our laboratory locations as needed.

Under the supervision of the Phlebotomy Supervisor, you will be responsible for obtaining the proper specimens for tests ordered, properly labeling all specimens, and instructing patients on specimen collection. You will also be responsible for registering patients, scanning ABN, billing, and HIPAA documentation, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Requirements include one to two years of phlebotomist experience, consistently arriving at work on time, and completing all tasks within established time frames. A phlebotomy diploma from an accredited school is required, and certification is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary puncture on patients
• Travel between laboratory locations as needed
