We are seeking a highly skilled Lens Production Expert to join our team in Edinburgh, Scotland. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining micro-lens production, running Flip-Chip like processes and machines, generating optical lens specifications, and working closely with key suppliers to optimize component design.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in micro-component fabrication, hands-on expertise with optical modelling software (Zemax, etc.), and experience in wafer level assembly processing. We are looking for someone who can work independently in a fast-paced startup environment, adapt, and overcome unforeseen challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain micro-lens production
  • Run Flip-Chip like processes and machines
  • Generate optical lens specifications
  • Select and work closely with key suppliers to optimize component design
  • Support assembly process and tooling development
