Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at PharmScript, LLC. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting our on-site pharmacists to prepare prescription orders for our facilities. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that pharmacy standards are maintained, policies are carried out, and objectives are accomplished.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists with proper labeling and filling of prescriptions
  • Accurately prepare prescriptions under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist
  • Packaging Rx labels with an in-depth understanding of our Framework system
  • Packaging medications in bottles or bingo cards for dispensing and delivery
  • Restock and organize pharmacy shelves (drugs, supplies, etc.)
  • Remove out-of-date items from inventory/shelves
  • Refill offsite inventory boxes with emergency medications
  • Basic operation of pharmacy automation (Accuflex, Dosis, E2, etc.)
  • Replenish Tharo and Zebra labels and maintain other various pharmacy equipment
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED is required
  • Pharmacy Technician educational coursework preferred
  • One year or more of Long-Term Care or Retail pharmacy experience preferred
  • Able to work independently as well as in a diverse, team environment
  • Able to stand on feet for 8 hours
