Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Ironworker Foreman to join our team at McCarthy Fabrication, LLC. As a key member of our fabrication team, you will be responsible for installing and fabricating various metal components, including stairs, landings, handrails, and roof access ladders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and fabricate metal components, including stairs, landings, handrails, and roof access ladders.
  • Work at heights and in confined spaces, ensuring safety and quality of work.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and engineered drawings to complete tasks accurately.
  • Collaborate with a small team of workers to achieve project goals.
  • Communicate effectively with site superintendents, homeowners, and other customers.
  • Operate a smartphone for business purposes, including time tracking and job assignments.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of field experience in ironworking or a related field.
  • 4G certification in steel stick welding or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift 80 pounds and haul a loaded trailer.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Background check and clean record.
