About the Podiatric Physician Role

We're seeking a well-trained Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) to provide foot and ankle care in a clinic setting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate compassion, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patients presenting lower extremity complaints and develop a clinical plan of care
  • Provide comprehensive examination and treatment for podiatric patients, including at-risk foot care, painful foot and ankle conditions, trauma, wound care, and surgical management
  • Administer advice and instructions on foot care and educate patients and families about general wellness care, medication usage, side effects, medical adherence, and prevention
  • Maintain patient medical records and medical documentation consistent with state regulations and Upperline Health standards and policy
  • Participate in continuing education as required by the state Board of Podiatric Medicine
Requirements
  • Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree with appropriate certification and licensure
  • Active DPM license or ability to obtain within applicable timeframe
  • Strong compassion for patients and their families
  • DEA registration or eligibility
  • CPR certification
