Position Overview
The Los Rios Community College District is seeking qualified candidates for a part-time, temporary (Adjunct) faculty position in Accounting. This pool is open continuously and refreshed every two years.

As an Adjunct Faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching assigned classes under the supervision of the area dean, helping students master course content, assessing student learning outcomes, and maintaining a thorough knowledge of your teaching field. You will also be expected to continue professional development, utilize current technology, and adhere to professional conduct and ethics standards.

Typical duties may include teaching courses across all levels in Accounting, including Fundamentals of College Accounting, Auditing, and Financial Accounting. Specific courses offered may vary by campus.

To be considered for this position, you must have a master's degree in Accountancy or Business Administration with an accounting concentration, or a bachelor's degree in Business with an Accounting emphasis and a master's degree in Business, Business Administration, Business Education, Economics, Taxation, or Finance, or a CPA license. You must also have an equity-minded focus and be able to foster an inclusive educational environment.
