This is an exciting opportunity to join our Structured Finance Risk team as an Entry-Level Credit Risk Professional. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting in the evaluation and monitoring of structured finance deals, ensuring that they meet the bank's risk criteria.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the credit risk analysis of structured finance opportunities, including the assessment of creditworthiness and market conditions.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to develop and implement risk management strategies for the BBVA New York structured finance portfolio.
  • Prepare and present credit packages and reports to risk committees, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
  • Support the maintenance of internal reports and their distribution to the appropriate areas.
  • Participate in the analysis and approval process of structured finance transactions.

Requirements

  • Graduate degree or MBA in economics, accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of credit analysis and financial modeling.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and Excel.
  • Familiarity with Bloomberg and other financial software is a plus.
