About the Role

Michael Foods, Inc. is a leading food processing and distribution company seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Norwalk, Iowa. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery to minimize downtime and optimize production.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues using CMMS and other tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and optimize equipment performance.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations, and promote a culture of safety within the team.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
Requirements
  • AA degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in industrial operations, maintenance, or a related field.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, with experience working with CMMS systems.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with team members and customers.
