Job Title: Electrical Technician

MSR-FSR is seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team. As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with electrical systems, including high, medium, and low voltage systems, to ensure they are functioning properly.
  • Conduct electrical system walk-downs and installation verification to ensure compliance with drawings, P&IDs, specifications, and submittals.
  • Document any errors or issues and notify the construction team via field work reporting.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors, superintendents, office staff, engineering staff, consultants, and owner's representatives to facilitate project activities.
  • Represent the company in project meetings and attend strategy meetings.
  • Prepare and execute startup checks, including verifying that startup documents have been fully executed and signed off.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5+ years of verifiable electrical experience (Journeyman level).
  • Five to ten years of related experience in the construction industry, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with high, low, and medium voltage systems, including transformers, substations, and switchgears.
  • Knowledge of relevant Codes and Standards (IEEE, NEMA, NFPA, NETA, OSHA).
