Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist PGY1 RPD to join our team at CaroMont Health. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for managing a wide range of duties to meet the pharmaceutical needs of our organization and its patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide medication-related information to physicians, staff, and community
  • Serve as a liaison to assigned patient care areas with responsibility for outcomes including patient satisfaction and quality measures
  • Mentor and educate pharmacy staff, residents, and students in area(s) of specialty
  • Coordinate delivery of pharmaceutical care within the assigned specialty by serving as the subject matter expert for order sets, patient care protocols, policy development / revision, and multidisciplinary rounds
  • Serve as the Residency Program Director of the PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in pharmacy from a recognized college or university
  • Current NC pharmacy license required
  • Doctor of Pharmacy degree preferred
  • Completion of accredited PGY1 residency program or 5 years of equivalent clinical experience preferred
  • Board certification required within 12 months of hire or within 12 months of initial date of eligibility, whichever occurs later
  • Must meet ASHP PGY1 Residency Program Director criteria
