Job Title: Instructor - Medicine, Gastroenterology

Job Summary:
The University of Miami seeks a highly skilled Gastroenterology Instructor to join our team. As a key member of our Division of Gastroenterology, you will be responsible for providing clinical care, supervising fellows, and participating in scholarly activities.

Responsibilities:
• Provide clinical care and supervise fellows performing upper endoscopies and colonoscopies
• Train under Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopists performing ERCP and EUS
• Supervise GI fellows in outpatient procedures and bill for services
• Participate in scholarly activities as time permits

Qualifications:
• MD Degree and ACGME US internal medicine internship and residency
• Completed 3-year GI fellowship
• Valid American Board Certification in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology
• Valid unrestricted Florida Medical License or eligible to apply

Requirements:
• Completion of 3-year gastroenterology fellowship
• Must maintain CME to meet institutional and state licensing requirements
• Must have excellent clinical knowledge and experience to provide safe and quality care to patients and meet institutional standards of care
• Current ACLS and BLS certification required
• Valid DEA licensure
