Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Drug and Breath Alcohol Collector to join our team at Quest Diagnostics. As a key member of our collection team, you will be responsible for collecting specimens accurately and on time, maintaining a safe and professional environment for clients and employees, and adhering to established procedures and protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Specimen Collection: Collect specimens according to established procedures using DOT guidelines, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Transportation: Safely transport specimens, supplies, equipment, and materials to the appropriate destination.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to clients, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of specimen collection, including Chain of Custody (COC) forms and Alcohol Testing Forms.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure equipment is neat, clean, and in good repair, taking appropriate action to advise management of required repairs and maintenance.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • License: Valid Driver's License
  • Certifications: DOT Certification and any other necessary documentation
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work in a rapidly changing environment, and basic computer skills in Microsoft Office
Work Environment

As a Drug and Breath Alcohol Collector, you will work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with clients, employees, and management. You will be required to travel to various locations, including client sites and Quest Diagnostics facilities. A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required for this position.
