Traffic Engineering Project Manager Opportunity
Atlantic Traffic Design Engineering (ATDE), a division of Traffic Planning and Design, Inc. (TPD), specializes in traffic management, transportation analysis, and design solutions. We are currently in search of a Traffic Engineering Project Manager (Professional Engineer license Required) to enhance our team. This position can be performed remotely or from our Warren, NJ office.
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, demonstrate a strong commitment to quality work, and exhibit a collaborative spirit. At ATDE, we pride ourselves on fostering a creative and adaptable work environment that promotes professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Effectively manage projects, personnel, and client relationships.
- Conduct and oversee traffic assessments, corridor planning, and safety evaluations.
- Assist in drafting plans, specifications, and designs for diverse projects.
- Work collaboratively on tasks such as traffic signal design, intersection layout, and roadway marking plans.
- Coordinate with field inspection teams and serve as an on-site project representative.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (required).
- PE, PTOE certification (preferred).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with NJDOT design standards and proficiency in CADD software.
- Demonstrated work ethic, ability to manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and possess a valid Driver's License.
