About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at Petco. As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide optimal guest experience services, including assisting guests in selecting merchandise and performing cashiering duties.
  • Demonstrate a high level of interest in the welfare, health, and proper handling of all animals.
  • Ensure merchandise is properly stocked and priced, and adhere to established operational guidelines and store policies and procedures.
  • Evaluate guest inquiries and refer to Guest Experience Leader and/or Leader on Duty as needed.
  • Participate in the completion of quarterly and annual physical inventory counts.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and pull 2000 lbs utilizing material handling equipment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
