The Sunflower Development Center is currently seeking a per-diem Augmentative and Alternative Communication Evaluator. This role is essential in delivering thorough AAC services, which encompass screening, assessment, and collaboration with onsite Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and Clinical Fellows (CFs).
Key Responsibilities:- Performing comprehensive AAC evaluation services, including screening, assessment, report generation, programming, implementation, and follow-up.
- Ensuring all documentation and paperwork are completed for billing and insurance purposes.
- Staying informed about the latest advancements in AAC technologies and methodologies.
- Providing training and support to parents and staff regarding AAC systems.
- Maintaining a valid ASHA certification and a Massachusetts SLP license.
- Demonstrating knowledge and expertise in programming various AAC systems.
- Valid Massachusetts SLP License.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCCs).
All candidates must successfully complete a comprehensive background check prior to commencing employment.
