Wapiti Medical Staffing is currently seeking a Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician or an experienced Family Medicine/Internal Medicine Physician with a background in Emergency Medicine to enhance our Emergency Medicine program.
As a family-owned medical staffing organization, we are dedicated to providing exceptional hospitalist and emergency department services. Our physicians and associated providers deliver care in various healthcare facilities.
Position Overview:
We welcome applications from Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physicians or Board Certified Family Medicine/Internal Medicine Physicians with Emergency Medicine experience. Key details include:
- Physician-led organization
- Annual Emergency Department volume of 27,000 visits
- 16-bed Emergency Department
- 24/7 physician coverage with 12-hour shifts
- 36 hours/day of Advanced Practice Provider coverage
- Utilization of Meditech EMR
- Options for Full-Time Employment (FTE) or Independent Contractor (IC)
Our team provides on-site administrative support, and we are not considering new graduates, visa candidates, or locum tenens at this time.
Compensation and Benefits:
We offer competitive compensation packages, which may include W2 positions with benefits or 1099 independent contractor arrangements with guaranteed shifts.
W2 positions include:
- Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance (with HSA)
- $250,000 group life insurance policy
- 401(k) plan with company contributions
- $3,000 for Continuing Medical Education (CME)
Submission Requirements:
Applicants must be Board Certified in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine/Internal Medicine with Emergency Medicine experience. Candidates should have:
- A minimum of 12 months/2,000 hours of Emergency Medicine experience (excluding training)
- Ohio Medical License (either in hand or in process)
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination status
- A list of procedures the candidate is proficient in performing
