About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and skilled Site Survey Team Lead to join our team at Apex Engineering Group Inc. in Fargo, ND.

This is a challenging opportunity for individuals with expertise in topographic surveying, highway/roadway construction staking, and project management. As a Site Survey Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading teams of surveyors, providing guidance on complex surveys, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead teams of surveyors on various civil engineering projects, including highway and urban roadway projects.\
  • Provide expert guidance on complex surveys, ensuring accuracy and quality.\
  • Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets.\
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.\
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and data analysis.\
  • Foster a culture of safety, quality, and teamwork among team members.\
  • Participate in business development activities to identify new opportunities and grow the company's presence in the region.\
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and technological advancements.\
  • Contribute to the development of new procedures, policies, and standards.\\$10.8 Million - $13.6 Million per year (estimated salary)\

Requirements:

  • \
  • Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) or ability to obtain within 12 months.\
  • 5+ years of experience in topographic surveying, highway/roadway construction staking, and project management.\
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.\
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.\
  • Strong analytical and technical skills, with proficiency in software applications and hardware equipment.\
  • Familiarity with NDDOT or MnDOT survey data collection and construction survey methods preferred.\
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel for work-related purposes.\\$48,000 - $60,000 per year\
