About the Role

The Business Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in connecting the technical environment with business needs. This position involves gathering requirements and utilizing data analytics to evaluate processes, identify challenges, opportunities, and solutions, thereby supporting business decisions for new or modified information systems services. You will be tasked with identifying and managing the resolution of system data maintenance issues, as well as troubleshooting hardware and network-related problems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver technical assistance to end users by identifying and resolving system data maintenance issues and troubleshooting hardware and network problems.
  • Provide Level 1 operational support for systems.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation for system services, advising on their effective and correct usage.
  • Implement and execute relevant measurement and reporting management practices to facilitate planning, controlling, reviewing, and auditing services to meet established Key Performance Indicator targets.
  • Offer consultation and support for the installation of information systems services or modifications to existing services.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Experience with Blue Yonder Suite (WMS, TMS, OMS, LMS) or a minimum of 2 years of operational experience in a distribution center.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Candidates must possess valid work authorization to be employed by ABB in the United States.
