Job Description

Planate Management Group, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, is seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure development team, you will be responsible for designing and managing the architect and engineering (A&E) and construction activities of various projects worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning and Management: Develop project plans, design and budget estimates, and review and approve technical construction designs.
  • Project Oversight: Track and manage project expenditures, conduct site visits to assess project deliverables, and monitor project progress.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Lead coordination with other stakeholders, including USAID bureaus/offices, USG, UN, and multilateral agencies/donors.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Infrastructure Development: Develop and deliver infrastructure guidance materials, such as training, reports, and case studies.
  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership and direction to project team members and stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Education: Degree in Civil Engineering, essential.
  • Professional Certification: Must have a Professional Engineering (PE) license.
  • Language Skills: Preferably can speak Ukrainian.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience in infrastructure design, management, and oversight of related procurement and services.
  • USAID Experience: Experience on USAID or other donor-funded infrastructure projects preferred.
