Job Title: Adjunct Faculty Pool - Medical Laboratory Technology

Job Summary:

Piedmont Virginia Community College is seeking qualified individuals to join our faculty as part-time adjunct professors in the Medical Laboratory Technology program. We are looking for innovative and collaborative educators to teach in the areas of Clinical Microbiology, Hematology, and Clinical Chemistry.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach face-to-face and/or online classes in Medical Laboratory Technology
  • Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of students
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve program outcomes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Science or Microbiology
  • Two years' work experience in the medical/clinical laboratory
  • Preferred qualifications include Master's Degree in Medical Laboratory Science or Education, Medical Laboratory Science National Certification, and community college teaching experience
