Nurse Circulator

Job Summary:
UCI Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Circulator in the Surgical Services department. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a smooth surgical experience for our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Organize and coordinate patient care activities, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of services.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families, addressing their physical, psychological, and spiritual needs.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.
- BLS and ACLS certification.
- 6 months experience as a peri-operative nurse and completion of peri-op course.
- Able to circulate all cases.
- Basic computer skills.
- Completion of basic dysrhythmia course.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures, and forms.
- CNOR certification.
- Member in professional organization.
- Scrub experience.
