The Guard I is responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our facilities. This includes controlling access to the building, confirming the security status of individuals, and reporting any irregularities to the Site Manager.

• Control access to the building and issue required badges.
• Confirm security status of individuals and report any irregularities.
• Update and maintain accurate security clearance lists.
• Perform hourly rounds of the facility during weekend duty.
• Ensure the cleanliness of the guard station.
• Work any shift required, including weekends.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Site Manager.
• Requires mental alertness and ability to follow instructions.
• Physical ability to walk, stand, and/or sit for extended periods, and to climb stairs.
• Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds.
• Present a professional appearance in dress and demeanor.
• Work well with all levels of Military and Civilian personnel.
• High School diploma or equivalent certification required.
• Computer literacy and ability to use basic computer programs required.
• US Citizenship and valid driver's license required.
• Subject to government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for SECRET clearance.

The Guard I will work in a fast-paced environment with varying shifts, including weekends. The ability to work well under pressure and maintain a professional demeanor is essential.
