We are seeking a skilled Die Setter to join our team at Peoplelink Staffing Solutions. As a Die Setter, you will be responsible for setting up and operating shop equipment, including lathes and grinders, to machine parts and verify conformance to specifications.
Key Responsibilities- Set up and operate shop equipment, including lathes and grinders, to machine parts and verify conformance to specifications.
- Correctly troubleshoot, disassemble, repair, and reassemble progressive stamping dies.
- Verify dimensions, alignments, and clearances.
- Work in a team environment and be willing to work overtime as driven by the workload.
- High school education is a must.
- Five years of tool and die repair experience in metal stamping or a related technical field.
- Experience with progressive dies.
- Accredited journeyman's tool maker certificate preferred, not required.
- Basic measuring tools, hand tools, and a toolbox.
- Ability to work with little or no supervision.
- Ability to move up to 35 pounds.
