Converting Operations Manager

The Converting Operations Manager will be directly responsible for overseeing the production line and directing the work of the Machine Operators and Assistants to ensure smooth operation and the highest quality of products.
Key Responsibilities- Setup and Operation: Set up the flexo folder gluer for operation, ensuring the setup of the print, rails, and die cut section, as well as the Die Cutter machines.
- Quality Control: Inspect product and dies before and after operation, monitoring the quality of the final product, checking the anilox rolls for damage, and ensuring the glue systems are operating properly.
- Training and Development: Cross-train on other pieces of machinery and mentor the Assistant Operators.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in the corrugated industry running a flexo folder gluer or die cutting machine, with preferred experience in both.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand on your feet for 8-12 hours a day, work in an environment that is not temperature controlled, and wear the proper PPE required for the job.
