About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Athletic Trainer to join our Sports Health department at a nationally recognized hospital. As a key member of our team, you will provide top-notch care to athletes and individuals in need of sports medicine services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support and treatment for individuals at school athletic functions and within rehabilitation facilities as needed.
  • Work closely with the team and treating physician to communicate effectively regarding athletes' injuries and treatment.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of injured athletes, including underlying trauma.
  • Treat athletes within the scope of the NATA board of certification license.
  • Demonstrate expertise in proper taping, strapping, bracing, and fitting of athletic equipment.
  • Carry out all prescribed treatments and recommendations by the team/event physician.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training or related field.
  • Current NATA certification and a current Ohio Athletic Training license.
