We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Patient Care Assistant to join our team at Scripps Green Hospital. As a key member of our clinical care team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Assist patients with daily living activities and provide a safe and organized environment
- Collect data and ensure patient needs are met
- Support the unit with patient logistics, clerical, equipment/supply, and charge reconciliation duties
- One year of recent experience working under the license of a licensed healthcare provider
- Current enrollment or completion of Nursing Assistant training from a recognized school
- Ability to speak, read, and follow instruction in English
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a service aptitude
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Provider
- CNA certification
- Multiple patient care skills preferred
- Preferred one-year acute care experience
