Job Title: Psychiatrist

Timberline Knolls is seeking a skilled Psychiatrist to join our Medical Staff. As a leading program in the eating disorder arena, we offer a comprehensive approach to treatment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical services to patients at our facility
  • Practice within medical protocols defined by federal and state regulations
  • Evaluate patients for mental, emotional or behavioral disorders
  • Treat or direct treatment of patients using various psychotherapeutic methods and medications
  • Review and complete medical information for individual care plans
Qualifications:
  • Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) required
  • One or more years' postgraduate degree practice preferred
  • Licensed in the state in which the facility(s) operate

We offer a nurturing environment of recovery that helps each woman in our care strengthen herself from within. Our team is comprised of medical and clinical experts in treatment for eating disorders, drug and alcohol addiction, mood and anxiety disorders, and co-occurring disorders.

Our Residential Treatment Center is located on 43 tranquil acres in the suburbs of Chicago. We provide 24-hour-a-day, 7-day-per-week medical care and a state-approved school for adolescents. Our intensive, holistic treatment model results in a depth of recovery that is transformational for residents and fulfilling for our staff.
