Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing quality rehabilitative physical therapy to patients, promoting excellent customer service, and adhering to state and federal standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide quality rehabilitative physical therapy to patients under the direction and supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist.
  • Accurately and thoroughly document patients' care observations, interventions, and evaluations.
  • Confer with the supervising Physical Therapist regarding patient progress and Plan of Care changes.
  • Demonstrate therapy techniques for nurses, home health aides, family members, or other responsible individuals who may assist patients with their physical therapy program.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited two-year Physical Therapy Assistant program or licensed, certified, or registered per applicable State law.
  • Current CPR Certification.
  • One year's experience in hospital or home health preferred.
