Pacific Rail Services is seeking a skilled and safety-minded individual to fill the role of Jockey Driver/Groundperson. This entry-level position offers on-the-job training and opportunities for advancement in a dynamic and recession-proof industry.
Key Responsibilities- Drive company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
- Spot and park intermodal freight trailers with precision.
- Perform locking and unlocking operations on intermodal freight trains.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
- Competitive starting rate of $20.06, increasing to $21.24 after 30 days and $23.60 after 6 months.
- 401(k) plan with a $3.00 hourly contribution up to 40 hours per week.
- Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, vision, and dental coverage, as well as life insurance and paid time off.
- 8 am shift, 5 days a week, with 8-10 hour daily shifts and potential for up to 12 hours daily.
- A valid driver's license.
- Ability to pass a 7-year background check and a drug test.
- Pass an IPCS Physical Capabilities Test.
