Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Charge Nurse II to join our team at Levindale Hospital's Brain Health Unit. As a key member of our patient care team, you will provide safe and effective care to our patients, while also serving as a leader and advisor to other team members.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care and coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Lead and mentor other nurses to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient flow and reduce length of stay
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements
  • Current Maryland RN license
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a charge/lead nurse role
  • Knowledge of a specialized field, with 2+ years of experience in the area of clinical expertise (Med/Surg)
  • Nursing Certification of specialty area within 3-5 years of hire
