HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital is seeking an exceptional physician to serve as Medical Director of our Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation program.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and direction for our existing rehabilitation program
- Cover a 20-bed acute inpatient rehab unit located within our hospital
- Collaborate with a dedicated team of trained therapy and nursing staff, including certified rehab nurses
- Treat a variety of patients, including those with stroke, orthopedic, multiple trauma, amputation, neurological conditions, and debility
- Consult with hospitals or nursing homes as needed
- Board eligible/board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
- Inpatient focus
- Full-time position with Medical Directorship duties
We are a 282-bed acute care hospital located in Panama City, serving the residents of Bay County and beyond. Our hospital offers a range of services, including orthopedic care and joint replacement, robotic surgery, and cardiac, vascular, and interventional services. We are also certified in Advanced Primary Stroke Care and have a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit in the region.
