Position Summary

The Project Manager is tasked with collaborating with commercial and industrial clients to oversee projects as per contractual agreements. This role involves working alongside sales, engineering, and installation teams to devise solutions for clients while managing labor assignments, budgeting, and material procurement. Supervisory Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with clients to create, schedule, and communicate updates on contracted projects.
  • Oversee project staffing to ensure timely completion and adherence to budget constraints.
  • Estimate and bid on new construction, renovations, retrofits, modifications, and upgrades to sell services.
  • Prepare comprehensive and timely proposals based on project documentation or client requirements.
  • Clearly define the scope of work to outline the complete solution provided by our company.
  • Review and submit project billing accurately.
  • Manage and maintain necessary project documentation until completion.
  • Facilitate and oversee training for clients.
  • Monitor ongoing work and assess employee performance.
  • Review job costs to ensure projects remain within budget.
  • Coordinate accurate material orders for projects.
  • Identify and resolve project-related issues.
  • Participate in project meetings.
  • Conduct project reviews upon completion.
  • Engage with industry trade organizations.
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships.

Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent industry experience.
  • Strong leadership capabilities.
  • Comprehensive understanding of blueprints and specifications.
  • In-depth knowledge of various products and services and their applications.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Visio.
  • Skilled in estimating labor and materials for construction projects.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in the construction industry and building automation systems.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Effective communication skills, including proficiency in electronic communication.
  • Strong keyboarding skills and basic computer proficiency.
  • Ability to pass required background checks for facility access.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Willingness to travel regionally.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to travel daily to client locations and job sites.
  • Level 1: Sedentary Work.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Occasional walking and/or standing on uneven or unimproved surfaces.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
