Job Summary

The Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) plays a vital role in the healthcare team, providing high-quality care to patients with respiratory insufficiencies. This position requires a strong foundation in respiratory therapy, with the ability to work in a fast-paced inpatient and outpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver and assess responses to ordered therapy per plan of care, including routine and intensive therapy and diagnostic procedures.
  • Measure ventilator volumes, pressures, and blood gas analysis.
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition and general acceptance of treatment.
  • Perform a variety of duties related to setting up, operating, cleaning, sterilizing, and storing respiratory therapy equipment.
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • RRT/Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT/RCP) certification.
  • Vocational School Graduate.
