Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit team at Dell Children's Medical Center in Austin, Texas. As a RN in this role, you will provide direct nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
  • Coordinate patient care with members of the healthcare team to ensure well-coordinated care.
  • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
  • Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification required within 1 month of hire date.
  • Registered Nurse licensure from the Texas Board of Nursing required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PICU RN experience.
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications.
