Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Ascension Sacred Heart Bay in Panama City, FL. As a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department, including assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and evaluating patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient information, including medical histories, test results, and treatment plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Florida.
  • Advanced Life Support certification within 6 months of hire date.
  • Basic Life Support certification within 1 month of hire date.
  • 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department setting.
