Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Seasonal Merchandise Associate to join our team at HomeGoods. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and supporting the growth of your career.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment by adhering to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards.
  • Support the growth of your career by cross-training in multiple areas of the store and participating in ongoing training and development opportunities.
  • Process customer purchases and returns accurately and efficiently, while providing a positive shopping experience.
  • Promote credit and loyalty programs to customers and maintain a thorough understanding of all store policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Excellent customer service skills and a strong ability to work with a diverse customer base.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to support business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Works effectively with peers and supervisors to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store culture.
