About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Senior Care Therapy. As a Geriatric Psychotherapist, you will play a vital role in providing in-person psychotherapy services to seniors in our care.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for our residents.
- Conduct initial assessments, follow-up sessions, and documentation using our electronic medical/health system.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to address a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders.
- Work closely with our treatment team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices through ongoing professional development and training.
- Ph.D., Psy.D., or Ed.D. in Clinical Psychology or a related field.
- Experience working with geriatric populations, preferably in a skilled nursing, hospital, hospice, or home care setting.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Computer proficiency and experience with electronic medical/health systems.
