As a key member of the United States Air Force medical team, the Certified Nurse Anesthetist plays a vital role in ensuring the well-being of patients undergoing surgical procedures. This expert will be responsible for managing pain and providing high-quality care before, during, and after operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective pain management plans for patients
- Collaborate with medical professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient needs and develop personalized care plans
- Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during surgical procedures
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
Requirements:
- Master's degree from a nurse anesthesia program
- National certifying examination passed within one year of completing required didactic and clinical requirements
- Minimum six months full-time nursing practice in the APRN specialty
- At least 12 months experience as a registered nurse
- Completion of Officer Training School course
- Age between 18 and 47
