As a key member of the United States Air Force medical team, the Certified Nurse Anesthetist plays a vital role in ensuring the well-being of patients undergoing surgical procedures. This expert will be responsible for managing pain and providing high-quality care before, during, and after operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective pain management plans for patients
  • Collaborate with medical professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient needs and develop personalized care plans
  • Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during surgical procedures
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families

Requirements:

  • Master's degree from a nurse anesthesia program
  • National certifying examination passed within one year of completing required didactic and clinical requirements
  • Minimum six months full-time nursing practice in the APRN specialty
  • At least 12 months experience as a registered nurse
  • Completion of Officer Training School course
  • Age between 18 and 47
