The Radiation Therapy Specialist is responsible for administering radiation treatment, conducting imaging procedures, and performing CT simulations while ensuring adherence to treatment documentation protocols. The CHRISTUS Health Cancer Center provides a wide array of cutting-edge treatment alternatives. Our Medical Oncology team comprises skilled physicians and advanced practitioners overseeing both inpatient and outpatient services across various locations within the CHRISTUS Health network. Each Medical Oncologist typically manages a patient load of approximately 25 individuals daily in the clinic, while the infusion and chemotherapy department caters to around 45 patients each day at the primary site, and nearly 20 patients at an additional site. The Radiation Oncology division operates from two facilities, offering external beam radiation, Tomotherapy, and CyberKnife services. Our laboratory is equipped to deliver a comprehensive suite of hematology and metabolic testing. Additionally, we provide a Palliative Care consultation program, actively serving 15 to 20 patients daily.

Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited Radiation Therapy Program (ARRT)
- Ability to comprehend and execute complex medical directives while maintaining composure under pressure.
- Experience with CyberKnife technology is preferred.
- Possession of a Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist License (MRT)
- Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiation Therapy (ARRT-T)
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) from The American Heart Association
