Job Overview:

The Bartender plays a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our guests. This position involves welcoming patrons, accurately processing food and beverage orders, and ensuring timely delivery to enhance guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver precise and comprehensive information regarding menu selections, pricing, and allergen details.
  • Foster relationships with regular customers to encourage repeat visits.
  • Efficiently take and input orders into the POS system.
  • Ensure prompt service of food and beverages in accordance with established standards.
  • Maintain adequate stock levels throughout the shift.
  • Assist in rearranging furniture as directed by management.
  • Verify guest identification to confirm legal drinking age.
  • Support food servers by providing timely service.
  • Adhere to specified drink recipes when preparing beverages.
  • Organize and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Address guest concerns or complaints with a positive attitude, escalating issues to management when necessary.
  • Comply with health and safety regulations, as well as state and federal liquor laws.
  • Uphold company sanitation standards.
  • Process guest payments accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensure proper cash handling and closing procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness by promptly addressing spills and disposing of waste appropriately.
  • Report any incidents or equipment failures to management immediately.
  • Ensure proper rotation of all beverages and consumables.
  • Monitor guests for signs of intoxication and address issues with discretion.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma preferred.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possession of all required state work cards.
  • Minimum of two years of relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with POS systems.
  • Strong knowledge of beers and spirits.
  • Understanding of safe alcohol service practices.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

Working Conditions:

This position requires working in a fast-paced environment, which may include exposure to varying noise levels, crowds, and smoke. Flexibility in scheduling is necessary, including availability for days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

Team members must be able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive movements. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
