We are seeking a highly skilled Emergency Medical Technician to join our team at Lake Huron Medical Center. As a key member of our emergency department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities- Assess and manage medical, trauma, and environmental emergencies under the supervision of a staff nurse or physician.
- Provide patient care based on individual needs within the scope of practice.
- Maintain a safe environment and perform duties under the direction of the ED Registered Nurse or Charge Nurse.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- Basic EMT Training or ER experience required.
- Current BLS certificate required upon hire and maintained current.
- Current ACLS and PALS certificates required 30 days upon hire and maintained current.
- Certified/Licensed EMT by the state certifying agency/entity required.
This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, with evening shifts from 3:00pm-11:30pm. Must be available to work every other weekend and holidays on rotation.
