Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented DC Warehouse Associate to join our team at O'Reilly Auto Parts. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient handling of incoming products, maintaining a safe working environment, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Unload and inspect incoming merchandise from trailers, containers, and trucks
  • Match skid or box counts to Proof of Delivery documentation and document any discrepancies
  • Place skids in designated areas, remove packing lists, and document Vendor Compliance issues
  • Receive and stock product from vendors, store returns, and warehouse transfers
  • Properly place product in various storage locations, from floor level to 72 inches high
  • Research and resolve discrepancies, confirm corrections, and close batches to release product to inventory
  • Acquire product from reserve locations, with and without power equipment
  • Train new team members on DC target training programs and departmental procedures
Requirements
  • Basic computer skills and ability to complete company-standardized tests
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and read numerical and alphabetical characters quickly and accurately
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) and experience in a warehouse environment, preferably with alphanumeric or RF directed stocking
  • Familiarity with automotive parts and advanced computer skills
