Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Substitute Teacher to join our team at Tracy Unified School District. As a Substitute Teacher, you will be responsible for providing instruction and supervision to students in the absence of the regular teacher.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality instruction to students in a variety of subjects
  • Manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe and respectful learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Assist with lesson planning and preparation
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the school administration
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Education or a related field
  • 48 semester units or higher of college credit
  • Passing score on the Para exam, administered by TUSD
  • TB clearance
