About the Role

The Cafe Lead is a key member of the Urban Air Concord team, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Urban Air Caf. This role requires a strong leader who can motivate and empower team members to deliver exceptional customer service and high-quality food products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the implementation of all processes, systems, and standards to ensure seamless operations
  • Ensure accurate receipt and logging of deliveries, even in the absence of the Caf Manager
  • Maintain a clean and organized storage area, minimizing waste and ensuring efficient inventory management
  • Lead and develop the Caf Team, promoting a culture of excellence and consistency
  • Adhere to scheduled shifts and demonstrate flexibility to meet business needs
  • Train team members in food preparation and front-of-house service to maintain high standards
  • Set a positive example for the Caf Team, emphasizing punctuality, attendance, and a positive attitude
  • Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met, including regular deep cleaning schedules
  • Maintain a well-organized and accessible Caf and storage area
  • Address guest concerns regarding the Caf in the absence of the Caf Manager
  • Participate in regular staff meetings and training sessions as required
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college education preferred
  • Minimum 6-12 months of prior food and beverage experience, preferably in quick service or restaurant settings
  • Leadership experience preferred, with a strong track record of team development and motivation
  • Current ServSafe or similar food handling certification, or willingness to obtain within the first 30 days of employment
