Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach Public Administration courses at our institution. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Public Administration and be able to provide high-quality instruction to our students.

Responsibilities
  • Teach Public Administration courses, including lectures and labs, as assigned by the department.
  • Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with the department's goals and objectives.
  • Provide individualized instruction and support to students, including office hours and online support.
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback to students.
  • Stay current with developments in the field of Public Administration and incorporate best practices into the classroom.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Public Administration or a related field.
  • At least two upper-division or graduate courses in American Politics, Public Policy, and/or Public Administration.
  • Experience teaching Public Administration courses at the community college level.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Doctoral degree in Public Administration or a related field.
  • Experience teaching online courses.
  • Experience with curriculum development and assessment.
