Job Summary:

Hitachi is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead project engineering efforts, focusing on designing, communicating, and implementing operational plans for completing engineering-based projects. The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of electrical engineering and project management, with experience in project controls, specifications, schedules, cost estimates, production, transportation, installation, testing, and commissioning of new infrastructure, facilities, equipment, etc.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure timely delivery of designs meeting quality expectations
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project completion as planned
  • Participate in design reviews
  • Support generation of special designs
  • Collect and lead improvements to processes and products
  • Collect and document requirements for system improvements
  • Support DTV and Tool development team in testing and implementations/deployments
  • Provide technical support to customers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate special tasks and enhancements projects
  • Conduct test failure root cause analysis and test failure reduction
  • Coach and train entry-level engineers

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Programming skills (SQL, Power BI) are a plus
  • Autocad and Creo are a plus
  • Experience in distribution transformers is a plus
  • Simulation skills (FEA) are a plus
