Packaging Operator Job Description

At Quantix Supply Chain Solutions, we are seeking a skilled Packaging Operator to join our team. As a Packaging Operator, you will play a critical role in maintaining safe packaging and adhering to company guidelines and policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain safe packaging, material handling, and visual inspection operations within the guidelines and policy.
  • Execute HRP/JSA process.
  • Operate and maintain GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and 5S methodology.
  • Manage and maintain waste and general trash accumulated from the warehouse packaging and material handling operation.
  • Operate with quality assurance in adherence to Kuraray EVAL QMS standards and requirements.
  • Ensure 24/7 operational coverage for Packaging Operations to guarantee uptime for Plant Processing/Production Operations.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software.
Working Conditions:

The Packaging Operator will work in a warehouse environment with frequent exposure to noise, dust, and other hazardous materials. The employee must be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

Salary:

The salary for this position is $18-20 per hour.
