Hannaford Supermarkets is seeking a skilled Meat Market Cutter Trainee to join our team. As a Meat Market Cutter Trainee, you will be responsible for assisting in the cutting and preparation of meat products, as well as providing exceptional customer service to our customers.

• Assist in the cutting and preparation of meat products, including scraping and traying products, cubing steaks, and grinding ground meats.
• Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and assisting customers in selecting products.
• Stock and rotate meat department items, including fresh, frozen, and self-service cases.
• Receive and process meat deliveries, coding and rotating products as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to company sanitation and food safety standards.

• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Effective customer service and communication skills.
• Successful experience as a meat associate or previous meat cutting experience preferred.
• Ability to meet physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations.
