The Field Operations Engineer plays a crucial role in overseeing various aspects of project execution, ensuring that all engineering responsibilities are met with precision and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Closeout: Ensure all project documentation is finalized and submitted, including redlines and warranties.
  2. Redline Management: Collaborate with leads and superintendents to submit necessary changes to the Scope of Work (SoW), ensuring all modifications are accurately documented.
  3. Testing Audits: Conduct thorough audits post-project completion, verifying that all installations meet the required specifications and standards.
  4. Lessons Learned Documentation: Actively contribute to the lessons learned tracker, compiling insights and feedback from project teams to enhance future operations.
  5. Warranty Processing: Gather and submit necessary documentation for warranty claims towards the conclusion of projects.
  6. Product Submittals: Complete initial product submittals upon issuance of Requests for Proposals (RFPs), ensuring all materials are accurately represented.
  7. Label Preparation: Assist in preparing labels for installation teams, promoting efficiency during the build process.
  8. RFI Oversight: Review and submit Requests for Information (RFIs), ensuring that all design-related feedback is documented and communicated effectively.
  9. Design Verification: Oversee design-related tasks, ensuring all shop drawings and revisions are accurately maintained and submitted.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 3-4 years of experience in commercial low-voltage or structured cabling.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and MS Project.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and project documents effectively.
  • Willingness to travel as required for project needs.

  • Self-motivated with a positive approach to teamwork.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
